What kind of birth control can i take with my lithium, lamictal, and paxil?

I take lithium, lamictal, and paxil, but I desperately need to get back on birth control. My doctor is concerned that altering my hormone levels will affect my mood stability and therefore affect my medication. Does anyone else have any experience with this? He said he will prescribe the birth control if I would like to try it, but is wary.
