What do you think about the adoption story in Bruno?
I'm an adoptive mom of 2, one internationally, and I think Sacha Baron Coen is brilliant. I've loved everything he has done. Underneath his wildly exaggerated humour he is almost always trying to make a point. I loved Bruno. I love how he displays the general stupidity or ignorance of people who have power. As for the adoption element, I took it in the spirit it was intended. I thought it was hilarious. SBC was asked in an earlier interview, before the release of Bruno, if he had an issue with IA and he said absolutely not. It wasn't about adoption. It was about these celebrities (Madonna, namely) cirventing the process due to their celebrity. Something I cannot argue with.
