How do I start my first job in an IT firm? (no work experience)?

I would start by asking those with the same jobas you what they are doing at the moment, or if they are working on any projects, then ask if you could help out. Not only will you (hopefully) have something to do, it will make you seem outgoing and helpful to those people.
