Why do neoconservatives laugh at people who ask Americans to sacrifice by conserving energy?

as soon as his lordship obama,kennedys,kerrys,edwards,clintons,r… all other wealthy democrat/liberals politians give up their mansions,and live in the average american 3 bedroom 2 bath 1 car garage.and practice what they preach i may give it some thought,until then,they can take a leap!
