I burned my finger.....help!!?

ok, im 15. my dad and i were working on a lawnmower blade. it was bent, so he heated with a propane torch, and then we bent it. but then i went to show him that an area needed to be bent more and i touched it with my thumb, and it HURTS!! since i was in the yard, it took me like 30 seconds to get to the kitchen, i ran cold water over it then i've had ice on it for over an hour. when i take the ice off 10seconds after it stings. the area is not a whitish/skin color. what can i do??
