What does Ebola do the RNA? And what causes the bleeding?
the ebola virus replicates itself by binding with the cells receptors, then inserting an RNA template into the cell, which causes it to make copies of the virus. the virus tricks the cells into making their own killers. Once active within the cell the virus prevents the bodies clotting mechanisms from working. Basically all the cells in your body bleed all the time, but are usually patched quickly and easily by platelets(which are just broken down red blood cells)and clotting agents. the platelets are used as a base the same way gravel is used in concrete. But the ebola virus prevents the cells from repairing themselves, so as new ruptures in the cell walls develope, pushed on by the muliplying viruses, the bleeding gets worse and worse until the organs themselves begin to bleed, and basically you die from internal bleeding, all the organs shut down.
